New track and switch installation at the West Davisville Railyard helps smart growth and investments for better service efficiencies, reduced emissions, and future growth for the railroad and Quonset Development Corp.

Quonset Development Corp. and Seaview Transportation work together in additional Port railroad infrastructure for long term economic and job growth for at the  Port of Davisville

Transit Stakeholders RI DOT, Quonset Development Corp., MBTA, and Seaview Transportation operated free commuter Trains to the Quonset Airshow; removing over 2000 cars off the highways. 

Working together with the City of Newport, RI DOT, and Bike Newport the new Shared Use Pathway along the Newport and Narragansett Bay Railroad, creates a rail-with-trail corridor to better connect the neighborhoods for Newport. 

Since 1979, tourists from across the U.S. have been riding the rails on Aquidneck Island. Great views and friendly staff keep the guest coming back; and the private investments in the railroad track upgrades and Federal railroad crossing investments keep this once forgotten rail line posed for a robust transit system.       

Rail Investment in Rhode island is more than just infrastructure, it's a movement with community and family.  A movement in establishing eco-tourism along our beautiful rail line, job creation through all parts of our rail organizations, and transportation outreach towards a stronger, healthier, and energized Rhode Island.
